DESKRIPSI LOWONGAN KERJA

PT MIRAE ASIA PASIFIK, an expanding intimate apparel service provider in Jakarta is looking for top candidates to fill the positions below :

INDUSTRIAL ENGINEER

Industrial engineers work to improve efficiency, reduce waste and increase productivity while ensuring safety, quality and cost-effectiveness.    Industrial engineers will work closely with sample room and various relevant departments to identify best workable production minutes (SAM) to determine the realistic cost of manufacturing. 

Duties and Responsibilities

• Evaluate current manufacturing practices and identify those needing improvements.
• Developing and implementing new process to increase efficiency and productivity.
•  Analyse and understand technical package or operation breakdown, in order to understand the flow of production for the products.
• Conduct time and motion studies of each style based on machineries in factories, to identify opportunities for optimization, and ensuring that the minutes (SAM) being calculated will be universally competitive in the industry.    Working together with costing department and merchandising department to determine the best cost of manufacturing (CMT).
• Identifying and implementing cost saving measures. 
• Must be able to prove to factories on how to achieve the desired SAM.

Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelor degree in Industrial Engineering or related field.
• Ability to understand process in manufacturing operations in apparel business.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary. Must be aware of business needs while making technical recommendation to be understandable
• Good leadership skills in implementing productivity changes. Develop relationship with co workers to adapt recommended changes.
• Ability to pay close attention to details and pose high analytical skills to evaluate / interpret data.
