DESKRIPSI LOWONGAN KERJA

We are looking for an individual to manage our Indonesian Digital Transformation projects and the candidate must be a passionate, and driven character. The successful applicant will work closely with ABS.Global top management team, and will, if demonstrating the right DNA, be fast-tracked for leadership.

The work environment is intense, and the expectation for good quality work is high, while still expecting the individual to have high degree of EQ and work harmoniously and pleasantly with team and with client. 

No prior knowledge of Palm Oil industry is required, although it is preferred. Even experienced new employees with some background in the industry will take between 3-6 months to master the work processes. Hence, the candidate must be teachable, humble, and willing to learn, while also demonstrating high-levels of self-drive.

The project field environment will take individual to rural areas, so the candidate must be able to work well in the rural situation with the stakeholders there, as well as the boardroom in the city.

The development the individual can expect is significant and can be a good platform for the right candidate to sharpen soft skills while learning a completely new domain knowledge.

Key Activities & Responsibilities:

  • Manage project timeline, resources & cost
  • Ensure project billing is timely and accurate
  • Differentiate and determine which jobs performed for client are in-scope and out-of-scope work, and ensure all out-of-scope work is charged to ensure reduced losses to project P&L
  • Maintain project discipline and ensure highest standards of etiquette and decorum are maintained in dealings with client and internal team members
  • Regularly inspect work quality of team to ensure the client receives high quality collaterals and issues minimal complaints, or has minimal issues in dealing with project team
  • Be the Sole-Point-of-Contact (SPOC) on all matters for project communications, in particular matters pertaining to, but not excluding nor limited to, escalations, requesting assistance from client and making recommendations on management change controls to how to run a project.
  • Manage the preparation of governance decks, project management decks and steering committee decks, be responsible to present to Client Top Management during such meetings
  • Do regular quality checks on project Helpdesk and have regular meetings with Helpdesk Manager and Client Service Request Manager, to ensure all client requests are receiving the appropriate attention
  • Ensure the ABS.Global project methodologies are complied with and all related administration of the methodology is properly prepared, has gone through quality checks and is suitable to be sent to the client to be used.
  • Have regular meetings with client management team to update the progress of the project and to discuss issues and drive project key activities towards completion, while maintaining project risk register and ensuring project risks are mitigated
  • Managing the requirements signoff process and documenting client requirements prior to system development. Appropriate documentation needs to be in place to ensure change requests are minimal as there will be cost impact to both ABS.Global and its clients. Skills required will include designing mock application screens, developing system process flows, defining required data structure and data sources and constructing mock dashboards. Experience in this area is highly preferable.
  • Upon completion of system development, managing the internal and client user acceptance tests (UATs). Key responsibility is ensuring an appropriate and rigorous test script is created that encompasses adequate testing that covers sufficient scenarios.
  • Managing the creation field user training material and execution of field user training. The training needs to be not just about how to use a system but how to keep performing their jobs but with new tools. The training material should be very informative, and be able to alert the users of potential mistakes that can arise if the system is used incorrectly.
  • Managing the creation and quality of user evaluation tests to determine if the user training was successful and users are competent in the use of the newly developed systems. Tests encompass field tests and classroom tests, and cover various levels of operations users.
  • Overseeing system deployment in the field as well as in corporate parts of the business. Must maintain and get regular and accurate updates for Implementation and Go-Live checklist
  • Personally execute system username creation, edition and deletion, and be personally responsible for all billings related to usernames
  • Any and all other activities that are deemed necessary by the Client Director and approved by ABS.Global Country Head of Indonesia

Requirements:

  • Candidate must possess at least Bachelor’s Degree/Professional Degree in Agriculture, Engineering, Information Technology;
  • At least 8 years of experience doing project management (comparable projects: digital transformation, transition, continuous improvement, IT systems implementation, process reengineering, systems development, change management, implementing Lean/SixSigma);
  • At least 5 years of experience in management consulting, performing business reviews (including leading the review team), drawing out roadmaps and laying out turnaround strategies based on review findings, and writing proposals for projects based in roadmaps from review findings. Comfortable working in various industries, but experience and knowledge in Palm Oil Industry preferable. (Preferred areas of Consulting : Operations, Due Diligence, Process Audits, Corporate Finance, Sustainability, Digital Transformation, Traceability, and others)
  • At least 2 years of remote working experience and experience working in a high travel environment. Must be comfortable to live in rural conditions up to and not exceeding 3 weeks.
  • Excellent presentation, verbal and written communication skills in English (Bahasa Indonesia preferable);
  • Possess high level of technical literacy to oversee and direct IT team throughout the project development lifecycle (experienced in project scope definition, gather functional requirement and develop detailed specification, lead development team, perform UAT, implement and close project, tightly manage requirements to ensure Go-Live is performed seamlessly);
  • Exhibits extensive time management skills to determine development schedules and milestones and ensure that deliverables are completed on time;
  • Excellent problem-solver, able to quickly change direction based on updated client specifications or system limitations 
  • Has strong computer skills in all Microsoft Office Applications. Experience adapting to new systems catering to working in a remote environment (e.g. Zoom, Whereby, Amazon Chime, Skype, and Zoho Suite);
  • Level headed, smart, good listener, fast learner, good sense of humour, and able to work under pressure while maintaining quality of work;
  • Must be proactive and pre-emptive in serving client needs
  • Has experience in business development is recommended. Candidates with successful experience in closing deals and have worked end to end on building commercial contract are highly recommended to apply (identify suspect and qualifying prospect, managing discovery meetings, identifying angle to make proposal, doing proof of concept, writing contracts and proposals, negotiating pricings and deliverables, presenting to client board and working with legal to vet contract prior to signing)
  • Highly creative, visionary, and has an eye for detail and is very quality conscious while has a good ability to communicate to others the best way to get the job done (without having to the job him/herself)
  • Able to lead and manage team members of 10 or more, hard worker and able to meet deadlines under minimum supervision;
  • Based in Jakarta and willing to travel regularly and extensively (>75%);
